Job summary

GSL Education is seeking Maths Tutors for roles starting in September 2025 at a Leicestershire SEMH provision. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and experience in tutoring or working with special educational needs. The positions offer potential full-time contracts with routes into permanent teaching roles, supported by an in-house trainer.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in either Maths or Sciences.
• Must have experience as a Tutor, 1:1 support, or group leading.
• Some experience working with SEN (Autism, Mental Health, Behavioural needs, ADHD, Dyslexia).

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance for students with special educational needs.

Are you a Maths or Science Graduate looking to secure a new role from September 2025?

Have you been working as a Cover Supervisor recently but want to step up into a higher-level role?

Or are you a Maths/Science Teacher looking to step down from whole class teaching?

I am currently recruiting for 2x Maths Tutors to work at a Leicestershire based SEMH provision.

Candidates who will be considered for this role:

• Must have a degree in either Maths or Sciences.
• Must have experience as a Tutor, 1:1 support, or group leading.
• Seeking a Full-Time/Permanent role.
• Some experience working with SEN (Autism, Mental Health, Behavioural needs, ADHD, Dyslexia).
• Must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.

Both roles are Full-Time and are to become permanent.

The school offers excellent routes into Teaching through an in-house trainer.

SEN Teaching Assistants with a Degree (any subject) are also encouraged to apply for this fantastic opportunity!
