The Role:
The appointed Maths Teaching Assistant will work closely with the maths department to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver targeted small group interventions, assist in lessons, and provide one-to-one support where needed to help pupils master mathematical concepts. You will also help pupils prepare for important assessments and build their confidence in problem-solving and exam techniques.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mathematics or a related subject and demonstrate a strong academic background. A passion for maths and education is essential, along with the ability to engage and support young people. Experience working with secondary-aged pupils, either in a school setting or through tutoring, would be an advantage but is not required. Strong communication skills, resilience, and a proactive attitude are key qualities for this role.
