Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking Maths Teachers for full-time, flexible supply roles available from ASAP. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in diverse UK secondary schools, with weekly PAYE payments.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, with experience teaching Maths in UK schools, strong classroom management, and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly. DBS Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and effective communication.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Support pupils in achieving their learning objectives
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to new environments quickly
• A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in students’ lives
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
