Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join our team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and challenge students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, helping them develop a strong understanding of mathematical principles and apply them to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, covering key areas such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  • Develop a Maths curriculum that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Regularly assess student progress in Maths, providing feedback that supports their academic growth and development.
  • Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to engage with Maths and challenge themselves.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the success and development of the Maths department, sharing resources and teaching best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex mathematical concepts accessible and engaging for students.
