About the Role:

I am supporting a school that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their thriving Mathematics department. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to achieve their best and fostering a love of mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, differentiated Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policy

Contribute to curriculum development and the wider Maths department

Provide pastoral support and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development activities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Maths
• Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
• Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
• Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is a team player with a proactive and flexible approach
