West Midlands/ temporary / £140.96 - 218.53 per day dependent on experience

Maths Teacher – South-West Birmingham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a high-achieving and inclusive 11–18 secondary school located in South - West Birmingham. The school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join its successful Maths department from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and forward-thinking school where Mathematics is one of the most popular A-Level subjects, with over 100 students enrolled in each of Years 12 and 13. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5, and committed to delivering an engaging and high-quality learning experience for all pupils.

About the Role:

  • Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5, including A-Level
  • Delivering well-structured lessons that inspire, challenge, and support learners
  • Supporting pupil progress in line with high academic and personal expectations
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of an ambitious and supportive department
  • Encouraged involvement in the school's timetabled enrichment programme

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching across KS3–KS5
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and student well-being
  • Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities
  • Is either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner looking to develop further

Additional Information:
