We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a well-established secondary school in Telford. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 to KS5, helping students build strong mathematical skills and confidence.
Deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Maths examinations with tailored lesson plans and assessments.
Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support to aid development.
Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum materials and resources.
Support students’ academic and personal development through pastoral duties and extracurricular activities.
Adhere to safeguarding policies and ensure the welfare of all students.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Maths with experience teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Proven ability to manage classrooms confidently and engage students of varying abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to apply.
