Maths Teacher required for Long Term Cover in a Secondary Academy in Durham

Our client is an excellent mixed comprehensive located in Durham. The school is looking to appoint an innovative Maths Teacher for supply starting in May 2025. The position is expected to extend for the full academic year.

You will join a strong department team. The school seeks a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher with solid subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed, energetic, and supportive Maths department where students are motivated to learn. The Head of Department and Deputy Head Teacher encourage both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL. Applicants without QTS will not be considered.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic classroom practitioner capable of teaching Maths to GCSE level, self-motivated, and able to inspire students to exceed minimum targets. You should create engaging and challenging lessons that maximize student learning potential.
