What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of Mathematics and a commitment to providing high-quality education. The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent).
• Experienced in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Experience teaching Key Stage 5 (A-Level Maths and/or Further Maths) is desirable but not essential.
• Passionate about Mathematics and able to inspire students of all abilities.
• An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
• Committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of learning in Mathematics.
• A collaborative team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community.
• Dedicated to their own professional development.
• A skilled Maths Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEND and high-achieving students.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback, both written and verbal.
• Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school.
• Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and resources.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
