Maths Teacher - North East Cambridgeshire, UK Suitable to NQT New

Quantum Scholars are currently working with a supportive secondary school based in North-East Cambridgeshire who are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher for the upcoming academic year, starting in September 2025. This will be a full-time, permanent position.

The school hiring are based in North-East Cambridgeshire, just on the border of Norfolk. They are rated as a "Good" performing school overall by Ofsted. They are an inclusive school community dedicated to the needs of the individual. They are proud of its reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, effective, and tailored Maths lessons to students across key stages.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.

Contribute to the development of the Maths department and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring the needs of all students are met.

Support the school's extracurricular activities related to Maths, including tutoring or after-school clubs, if applicable.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff training, and school events.

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in teaching Maths at secondary school level.

Proven ability to engage and motivate students across different age groups and abilities.
