Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and individual student needs.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing timely feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a love of maths and promoting student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour, ensuring data is up-to-date and accessible to relevant parties.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and trends.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
• Proven experience in teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum and relevant assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
