Location: Brent Immediate Start Behaviour & ASD Support Excluded from Mainstream
We are proud to be working on behalf of a specialist school that provides high-quality education and support to students who have been excluded from mainstream education. The school is now seeking a full-time Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team and deliver engaging, accessible lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
About the School:This alternative provision school supports young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Staff are committed to restorative practice, emotional wellbeing, and building trust, helping students re-engage with learning in a safe and structured setting.
The Role:Full-time Maths teaching role (KS3 & KS4)
Delivering a tailored and differentiated curriculum
Building strong relationships to support academic and emotional development
Working alongside a skilled team including behaviour mentors and SEN professionals
Encouraging positive behaviour and student engagement through consistency and care
QTS or QTLS (strong unqualified teachers with relevant experience considered)
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
Confident managing behaviour and working with students with ASD
Resilient, compassionate, and adaptable to individual student needs
