Maths Teacher – KS3 and KS4
Location: Birmingham, B23
Start Date: September (new academic year)
Day Rate: £150 to £200 (depending on experience)

A secondary school in the B23 area of Birmingham is looking for a Maths Teacher to join them in September to cover mixed-ability Year 8 and Year 10 groups, with class sizes averaging 28 pupils. The school holds a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and is known for strong pupil behaviour and supportive senior leadership. This role is available due to long-term sickness, and we’re onboarding now to ensure readiness for the new academic year.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan, teach and assess in line with the national curriculum

Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records

Work with the department to develop schemes of work

Candidate Requirements

QTS and secondary Maths teaching experience

Confident with mixed-ability groups and GCSE preparation

Able to manage behaviour and adapt lessons when needed

Available to start in September
