Job Title: Maths Teacher

Contract Type: Permanent / Long term

Salary Scale: £130-£230 per day

Are you passionate about helping students exceed in Mathematics? Do you have the enthusiasm and skills to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers? We are looking for a dedicated teacher to take on the role to teach Mathematics in a secondary school located in the Braintree area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum.
2. Support students in their learning, both in and outside the classroom.
3. Develop and assess coursework and exams.
4. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
6. Encourage students to reach their full potential.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in the Mathematics field.
2. Experience working within education.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of students.
5. GCSE or equivalent at grade C (Pass) or above.
6. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students' academic and emotional development.
