Class Act Teaching Services is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a 11–18 secondary school in Oxfordshire, with a January to July 2027 placement. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Maths lessons using pre-prepared planning and resources, with dedicated PPA time for marking.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, experience teaching Maths in secondary schools, and the ability to teach GCSE-level Maths while promoting student progress and wellbeing.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to teach Maths up to GCSE level.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-prepared planning and resources.
• Support students in developing confidence in numeracy and problem-solving.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Utilise allocated PPA time for marking and feedback.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with the Mathematics department.
