Overview

A leading independent prep school in Buckinghamshire (close to Berkshire) is seeking an engaging, experienced Maths Teacher on a permanent basis. The role teaches Maths from Year 5 to Year 8 including common entrance and scholarship level. Start date October 2025 or January 2026. Location: Buckinghamshire. Contract: Permanent. Salary: Competitive with accommodation/accommodation allowance.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths to Year 5–Year 8, including common entrance and scholarship preparation.
• Be part of a dedicated Maths department and deliver engaging, dynamic lessons.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff; contribute to positive school life.
• Support wider school and boarding life as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Passion for Maths with the ability to inspire students.
• Experience teaching up to Year 8; experience in an independent/boarding school setting preferred.
• Nurturing approach and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
