About the role
Ready to make an impact or looking for a meaningful career change?We are currently seeking a Qualified Teacher of Maths to deliver GCSE course content for 16-19 year-olds across the EFI Group.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, delivering quality mathematics education, and developing innovative curriculum content to support students' learning and progression in the field. You will monitor the attendance of your groups and put in place the necessary strategies and actions to maximise student participation. At the end of the year, students resit their Maths GCSE in a summer examination, and study towards this is the commitment students undertake in order to pursue their chosen course at the EFI.
It is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of GCSE Maths curricula and examination processes, with considerable teaching experience in Maths. QTS and classroom teaching experience preferred.
