Job summary

Parkside School in Bradford is seeking a Maths Teacher on a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover to deliver a high-quality Mathematics curriculum across KS3/KS4. You will promote positive pupil engagement, manage behaviour and contribute to school priorities, including literacy.

The role requires QTS in Mathematics, with experience across KS3/KS4; KS5 knowledge is desirable. You will join a supportive team within Wellspring Academy Trust, working on-site to support learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching experience desirable).
• Proven track record of consistently strong classroom practice and high expectations for all students.
• Commitment to safeguarding, child protection and promoting equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high quality Mathematics lessons across key stages, adapting teaching to meet diverse pupil needs.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management in line with school values.

About this Role

Join Our Team at Parkside School as a Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Parkside School is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team on a 1 year fixed term maternity cover position.

In this role, you will teach Mathematics across all key stages, setting high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils across the full age and ability range. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a well structured curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the progress, inclusion and well being of every student.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high quality Mathematics lessons across key stages, adapting teaching to meet diverse pupil needs.

What we are looking for
