Position: Maths Teacher

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging Maths lessons tailored to students with varied learning needs.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to ensure all students can access the curriculum and make progress.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports students’ academic and personal growth.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and wider team.
• Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, using strategies to promote confidence and motivation.
• Monitor student progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure students receive the holistic support they need.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths, ideally in an Alternative Provision, PRU, or SEN setting.
• A strong understanding of SEMH and behavioural strategies to support student engagement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to inspire and motivate students.
• A resilient, flexible, and compassionate approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
