Wycombe High School is seeking an accomplished Maths specialist who can deliver engaging A Level content and promote high academic achievement. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Mathematics at A Level and should have the capacity to teach Economics, enhancing the department with a broader subject offer.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom teacher with a track record of adding value to classes and department.
• Ability to teach Mathematics at A Level.
• Ability to teach Economics is desirable.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and safeguarding.
• Excellent behaviour management and ICT use in teaching.
• Willing to contribute to curriculum development and school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to BTEC/A Level learners.
• Contribute to departmental planning and assessment across the maths curriculum.
• Support broader school improvement initiatives and professional development.
• Model excellent professional standards and safeguarding.
