Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a friendly secondary school in Sidcup. You will deliver engaging maths lessons for Key Stage 3 to GCSE, with potential for A‑Level guidance, helping students develop strong problem‑solving skills and confidence.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (QTLS preferred), assess student progress, tailor learning to individual needs, and build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that foster a love of numbers and problem-solving in students. As Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of age groups, from Key Stage 3 to GCSE and potentially A-Level, depending on your experience. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of maths, be able to inspire students, and help them achieve their full potential.

Key Requirements:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that are engaging, challenging, and tailored to individual student needs.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• The teacher must have QTS and be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
