Job description

Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Maths teacher to start immediately initially until January.

Our client is based in Telford with an “outstanding” Ofsted rating and has a great ethos and staff culture. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

1. Teach Maths throughout KS3 and KS4.
2. Plan, mark, and assess student work.
3. Comply with the school behaviour policy.
4. Report pupil progress against targets/action plans.
5. Build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
6. Exhibit excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.

Required skills and experience for the Maths Teacher role:

1. Specialist in Maths.
2. Confident teaching Maths up to GCSE.
3. Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
4. Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
6. Previous school experience teaching Maths.
