Maths Teacher

A school in St. Albans is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join for the entire 2025–2026 academic year, starting September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to make a sustained impact on student learning within a supportive and collaborative department.

Duties as a Maths Teacher:

1. Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available if appropriate).
2. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that challenge and support all learners.
3. Mark and assess student work in line with school policies, providing constructive feedback.
4. Monitor progress and implement intervention strategies where needed.
5. Contribute to the department's planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
6. Uphold the school’s behaviour, safeguarding, and inclusion policies.

Ideal Maths Teacher:

1. A qualified teacher (QTS required) with strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
2. A reflective and proactive classroom practitioner.
3. Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
4. A team player committed to supporting student achievement and departmental goals.
