Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sleaford
Salary Range: MPS/UPS (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract Type: Long-Term Supply

Passionate about numbers and shaping young minds? Join us as a Maths Teacher in Sleaford! GSL Education are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to join a vibrant, dynamic school in Sleaford.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach Maths to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
  2. Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school's curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  3. Support students' individual learning needs, adapting lessons as necessary to maximise progress.
  4. Assess and track students' progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  5. Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment with clear expectations.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues and attend staff meetings to contribute to the development of the department and school.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education.
  4. Excellent classroom management skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  6. Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable.
  7. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
