Job summary

Engage Education is helping a secondary school in Rochdale to recruit a Maths Teacher for a full-time, term-time role from September until July 2027. The post focuses on KS3 and KS4 Maths with a strong emphasis on creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

The role offers a daily rate of £170–£200 during term-time, with potential for extension beyond July 2027. Candidates with QTS in Secondary Mathematics or ECTs are welcome to apply, and prior good observations are valued.

Maths Teacher – Role Information:

• Monday to Friday position based in one secondary school
• Teaching KS3 & KS4 students within Maths subject
• Fostering engaging and warm class atmosphere
• Usual school working hours – September to July
• Paid between £170 to £200 per day during term-time
