Job summary

Job description

Position: Maths Teacher

Location: Lancaster, Lancashire

Contract: Full-time

A secondary school in the Lancaster area are looking to appoint a full-time Maths Teacher, who is seeking a new role from September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students in KS3/4, with focus on providing engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to learn.

The school is a successful comprehensive school with an excellent sixth form provision situated in Lancaster, Lancashire. They also have an excellent standard of pastoral care resulting in having a culture of high expectations leading to a happy school to work and learn in.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver effective Maths lessons to students
  • Create lesson plans, assessments and assignments that align with the curriculum
  • Monitor and track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Requirements
