Salary: MPS/ UPS – £ 31650 to £ 49084 ( dependent on experience)
A thriving secondary school located in Hyde is looking to appoint a committed and skilled Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department from September 2025 .
This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers ( ECTs) seeking a supportive induction year and experienced teachers looking for a fresh challenge in a well- resourced, forward- thinking school with strong leadership and excellent student behaviour.
The Role:
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 ( KS5 may be available for suitable candidates)
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to mixed abilities
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Take part in departmental planning and whole- school initiatives
Inspire students to develop a love for Maths and achieve their full potential
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS) or equivalent
A Maths- related degree and sound subject knowledge
Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level ( KS3/ KS4)
A strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills
Passion for Maths education and pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
