Step Teachers are working with a Secondary School near Hoddesdon who are looking for a Maths Teacher to start with them in September 2025. This is a full-time role, and the school is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on the school and students.

Maths Teacher Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and resources
• Work effectively with staff within the department and across the school
• Assess students, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Plan and deliver engaging, comprehensive lessons
• Ensure compliance with school policies and reliable implementation

Requirements of a Maths Teacher:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for secondary teaching
• Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Maths Teacher
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• A relevant Maths-related degree is desirable
• SEND experience is desirable
