Base pay range

Elevate Supply is seeking a passionate and experienced math teacher for schools in Bury! You will be responsible for delivering high-quality math lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop a love for the subject and helping them reach their full potential.

Position Overview

Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Bury
Day Rate: £150 - £200 per day dependant on experience
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Mathematics.
Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.

Qualifications And Skills

A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Maths up to GCSE level (A-Level experience desirable but not essential).
A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
Ability to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
