Job description

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact? We’re on the lookout for someone who can bring energy, structure, and encouragement to a small group of young learners in a secure setting.

Based at HMYOI Feltham, you’ll deliver accredited Maths qualifications (Entry Level up to Level 3), helping young people build confidence and numeracy skills that will support them beyond the classroom. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, support learners one-on-one and in groups, and help guide them towards positive outcomes.

The role also involves contributing to learner progress tracking, curriculum development, and participating in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment.

You’ll need to be occupationally competent in Maths and hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, QTLS or equivalent). Experience in secure settings is a bonus, but not essential—what matters most is your ability to connect, teach, and inspire.
