Overview

Maths Teacher for GCSE classes only in Haringey. 4 days a week. ASAP start. Post is subject to an enhanced DBS for Child & Adult.

The Role

In this role you will be a 4 day week Maths Teacher taking responsibility for preparation, planning and teaching the Maths GCSE curriculum for 16 – 18 year olds. You will prepare students for exams, coursework, homework, student monitoring, and where appropriate, curriculum development. The expectation is that high levels of student attainment will be achieved. You will join a supportive core subjects team and will have good support from the senior leadership team.

  • QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge across all sciences
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
  • Ability to use ICT effectively
