Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join a highly successful department in Monmouth from January 2027 (or earlier).

This part-time role involves teaching A-Level Mathematics in a thriving Sixth Form, within a school renowned for excellent results and an inclusive ethos. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and contribute to departmental development in a supportive environment with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A-Level is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, focusing on A-Level courses.
• Support students to achieve high standards in Mathematics, including Further Mathematics and Statistics.
• Contribute to the development of the Mathematics department and school initiatives.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to maximise learning outcomes.

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to maximise learning outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
