Mathematics Teacher – Immediate Start or September 2025

Location: Near Eastbourne, East Sussex

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Contract Type: Long-Term (with potential for a permanent position)

Salary: £160 - £245 per day (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 4:00 PM

A secondary school located close to Seaford, East Sussex, is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join their team either immediately or from September 2025. Your Role

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan and assess in line with the curriculum to support student progress
  • Track pupil performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively within the maths department and wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold UK QTS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations
  • Be passionate about raising student attainment in Maths
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
