Randstad Education is hiring on behalf of a welcoming and progressive secondary school in Birmingham for the position of a Mathematics Teacher. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role, ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to long-term impact in the classroom.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Mandatory.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Eligibility to work in the UK - Please note, sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Must be willing to commit to a permanent role.
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience as a Maths Teacher in the UK is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Inspire and challenge students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student's work, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in departmental planning, staff meetings, and ongoing CPD opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress and well-being.
• Track and report student attainment and progress accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school-wide initiatives as needed.
