We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one Maths and Science tuition at an amazing SEN school in Norwich. This is a flexible role that can be full-time or part-time depending on availability, offering an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored one-to-one sessions infunctional Skills Maths, GCSE Maths, and GCSE Science.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a variety oflearning needs and abilities.
  • Work closely with SEN staff and support teams to ensureindividual progress and engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providingfeedback and development plans.
  • Create aninclusive, supportive, and structuredlearning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or relevant tutoring experience in Maths and Science.
  • Experience working withSEN students, particularly in a one-to-one setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge inMaths (Functional Skills & GCSE) and GCSE Science.
  • Excellentcommunication and adaptabilityto support individual learning needs.
  • A patient, understanding, andstudent-focused approachto teaching.
  • Work in anoutstanding and supportive SEN schoolenvironment.
