Maths or Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth
Location: Wandsworth, London
Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Duration: Academic Year (with potential for teacher training route)

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic Maths or Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a high-achieving secondary school in Wandsworth from September 2025. This is an ideal role for a graduate considering a future in teaching or educational psychology.

About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with subject teachers, providing academic support to students in small groups or 1:1. You'll help deliver engaging lessons in either Maths or Science, reinforce subject understanding, and play a vital role in supporting pupil progress across KS3 and KS4.

You'll also:

  • Assist in planning and resourcing engaging content
  • Support students with special educational needs or those falling behind
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Be involved in extracurricular clubs, interventions, or mentoring
