Job summary

Hopwood Hall College is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to join our teaching team on a 12‑month maternity cover. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching across a range of full‑time and part‑time programmes, planning, preparing and assessing learning activities, and promoting literacy, numeracy and digital capability.

You will contribute to curriculum planning and support the delivery of basic and key skills, while aiming to maximise learner attendance, retention and punctuality to

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in relevant area.
• Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Intermediate IT skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with learner management systems (LMS/VLE) and e-learning platforms.

Responsibilities
