Lecturer - GCSE Maths

Location: Stamford

Contract: Permanent | Full Time (37 hours per week, all year round)

Morgan Hunt is partnering with a college in the Peterborough area to find a GCSE Maths Lecturer to join their high-performing English and Maths department.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about teaching and supporting learners from Entry Level (KS1) through to Level 2 (GCSE equivalent). Whether you're already qualified or seeking to achieve your teaching qualification, the college provides full support and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths teaching, learning, and assessment across various levels
• Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning resources
• Collaborate with vocational tutors to embed Maths into course delivery
• Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify learner needs and support progress
• Create individual learning plans to help learners achieve their goals
• Participate in team meetings, curriculum development, and continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, Level 5 Diploma) or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent subject knowledge in Maths
