North West England, Greater Manchester, Levenshulme

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Education and Training

£89 - £99 Per day

Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted maths intervention to students to improve their mathematical skills
  • Create and implement individualised learning plans to address specific areas of improvement
  • Monitor and assess student progress through regular assessments and adjust intervention strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions and student progress
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in mathematics education
  • Experience in delivering effective intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in education, with a focus on maths intervention
Skills
  • Deep understanding of the UK national curriculum for mathematics
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with varying learning styles
  • Proficient in using data to inform instructional decisions
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Mathematics

Working Conditions
  • Work primarily in a school setting
