Job summary

Flourish Education are currently recruiting Maths Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants, Maths Intervention Tutors and Cover Supervisors within secondary schools across Warwick and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Graduate to gain practical experience within secondary education while supporting pupils to improve their confidence, understanding and attainment in Mathematics.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils
• Reliable and flexible approach to work

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small-group Maths support
• Delivering targeted Maths interventions
• Supporting pupils who require additional help with Mathematics
• Helping pupils prepare for GCSE Maths examinations
• Supporting revision, booster and catch-up sessions
• Working with pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Helping pupils build confidence in Maths
• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
• Breaking down mathematical concepts to make them accessible
• Working alongside Maths teachers and wider school staff
• Building positive relationships with pupils
• Providing whole-class cover where required
