Job summary

Tp-Tutors is seeking passionate Maths and English tutors to support pupils across the Slough area. Tutors will work with primary and secondary learners in homes, schools, libraries or online, delivering tailored sessions and keeping detailed progress updates.

Ideal candidates include qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS preferred) or experienced tutors with a calm, empathetic approach. You will differentiate lessons to suit individual needs and maintain safeguarding and pupil wellbeing throughout.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths or English.
• Ability to differentiate and personalise learning effectively.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tutoring sessions at pupil homes, schools, libraries or online.
• Provide detailed session reports and attendance logs.
• Track pupil progress and communicate updates to schools, parents and commissioning teams.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs and learning styles.
