Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking experienced tutors to provide one-on-one sessions for students outside mainstream education. Ideal candidates will have a PGCE with QTS, knowledge of SEN and SEMH, and the ability to teach Maths and English up to GCSE level. This opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in students' education during critical times.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in UK education.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 face-to-face tutoring sessions.
• Support students with SEN/SEMH needs or those falling behind.

Job description

Remedy Tutors are looking for experienced, qualified and hard-working tutors to deliver world class sessions for kids outside of mainstream education.

Tuition will be 1:1 and face to face. The sessions will only take place either in the students home (with a carer or parent present) in a local library, or in a private room in a school.

The students specific needs vary, from SEMH to SEN or just needing some extra support due to falling behind or upcoming exams, (SATS, GCSE'S)

Minimum job requirements:

• Knowledge of SEN and SEMH
• Can teach Maths & English up to GCSE
