About the Role:

Are you a recent mathematics graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education?

Academics, Canterbury are seeking enthusiastic and committed Graduate Mathematics School Cover Supervisors to provide essential support across various schools in East Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment and inspire students in their mathematical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular mathematics teacher, ensuring that students stay on task and engaged.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and assist students in their understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and respect.
  • Monitor student behaviour and report any concerns to school staff.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support the overall learning objectives of the school.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A recent degree in Mathematics or a related field.
