We are seeking a confident and proactive Maths Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong classroom presence and a passion for supporting students' learning in mathematics. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Maths Cover Supervisor:

1. Supervise classes in the absence of the Maths teacher, ensuring students remain on task with set work.
2. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
3. Provide general feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress.
4. Assist in the preparation of resources where necessary.
5. Promote a positive learning environment that encourages students to excel.

Essential requirements:

• Experience working with secondary school students (ages 11–16), ideally in a maths or STEM context.
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics up to GCSE level.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A calm, resilient, and professional manner.
• The ability to adapt to different classroom environments.

Desirable qualifications:

• A degree or relevant experience in Maths or a related subject.
• Teaching assistant or Cover Supervisor experience.
