Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a purpose built school for learners with Social, Emotional mental Health needs.

The school caters for up to 88 learners, and strive to nurture and cultivate self esteem and confidence. Standards for behaviour are high, and matched with a positive ethos of mutual respect.

The role is due to commence in the new academic year, September 2025, and is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, and is set to span long-term for the right candidate.

What we re looking for:

  • Teachers with QTS.
  • Experience of supporting learners with SEMH.
  • Experience in teaching the Science and Maths Curriculum.
  • An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.

Successful candidates must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
  • At least two references including most recent/current employer.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
