Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Reading is seeking a motivated GCSE Tutor to deliver one-to-one Maths and English lessons to students with SEN. The role offers flexible hours and a real opportunity to make a lasting difference within a manageable schedule.

You will tailor lessons to individual SEN profiles, monitor progress, and provide feedback to parents. Part-time, temporary position with 5-25 hours weekly and pay of £25–£30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.
• Experience working with learners with SEN in 1:1 or small group setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable Qualifications:

• PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience with students who have Autism, ADHD or SEMH needs.
