Job summary

Explore Learning Beaconsfield is seeking a tutor who acts as a coach and mentor, supporting learners with care and purpose.

Deliver tailored sessions in small groups (1:6), build relationships, and help children aged 4–16 progress through the national curriculum and GCSE/11+ prep in a supportive Beaconsfield centre.

This permanent, part-time role requires a commitment of at least 6 hours a week across two weekdays and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in tutoring or teaching preferred.
• Comfortable working with children aged 4–16 across the national curriculum.
• Excellent communication and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Delivering lessons that last using Compass to tailor sessions.
• Build meaningful relationships with each child in a safe, inspiring environment.
• Support learners through the national curriculum and exams preparation.

The Role

Logistics

Location:This is an on-siteroleand you will be basedatour Beaconsfield centre.

Contract: This is a permanent, part time role. You will be contracted to work a minimum of 6 hours a week over at least 2 different weekdays. Our available shift start times are:

3:30-4pm Tuesday

3:30-4pm Wednesday

3:30-4pm Thursday

3:30-4pm Friday

Morning/afternoon Saturday

Pay Rates & Progression:

Earn more as you progress!You will start on the base rate for your age group, with an annual opportunity to increase your pay based on the number of hours you have tutored for
