Role: Mathematics Teacher

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of mathematics. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of mathematical principles and their application. Your role will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Mathematics lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
  • Encouraging students to apply mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills in various contexts.
  • Supporting students in their academic development, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Contributing to the development of the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Mathematics.
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of the Mathematics syllabus.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Mathematics department.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

  • A strong passion for Mathematics and a desire to support students' mathematical journeys.
  • A recognised teaching qualification in Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
  • A passion for developing young people academically.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
