Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A good honours degree in Mathematics or a related subject is required.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and enthusiasm for the subject.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons.
• Use evidence-informed teaching strategies to provide appropriate challenge.
• Use assessment to identify gaps and accelerate progress.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and disadvantaged students.
• Establish a positive classroom climate where students are challenged and supported.
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaboration within the Mathematics team.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and accessibility.
• Contribute to the wider life of the department and Academy.
