• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to make excellent progress in Mathematics.
• Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including interactive whiteboards, technology, manipulatives, and real-world applications, to bring mathematics to life for students and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
• Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Mathematics curriculum remains relevant, challenging, and engaging for all students.
• Foster a love of Mathematics in students, encouraging them to participate in maths clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities, and to consider further studies or careers in STEM fields.
